We loved our stay here. Home is very clean and has all the amenities you could need. Host is super responsive and friendly. We had a wonderful time with a large group of teenagers. Everyone got to kayak and tube down the river. The BNB is only about a 25min drive from Bandera, a fun cowboy themed town with lots of shops, restaurants and horseback riding.

I’m going to start by saying WOW! The reason we visited was for the beautiful clear river water, but what we didn’t expect was the breath taking stars in the night sky! It was what we expected and more. Not to mention we were never wondering about instruction or if we were doing fine because Angela was always communicative and helpful. As well as her kindness which always makes a great stay. I rate this 100 out of 10 and we are already planning our next trip, thank you so much sparrow bend for making unforgettable memories for our family, see you soon!

We loved it, its was a great, beautiful, fun, peaceful, relaxing. Was 10x better than I excepted. When we need help the host was very helpful and responded fast. The river was amazing. The fishing was fun. It was a great place to relax when we got back from six flags. We will definitely be booking again in the future. Thank you so so much for everything.

We had a great stay! The property is beautiful and we kept comparing it to summer camp. Went fishing, grilled many meals, went swimming, kayaking, made s’mores. The house was very nice and relaxing after a fun day of being outside all day. Angela is responsive, kind, and helpful. We would love to come back soon!

Stayed in a tiny RV / Scamp over the weekend and it was extremely peaceful. It's a small campground so not a whole lot of guests, although everyone we came across were very respectful and kind. The campgrounds are also appropriately spaced for privacy and noise, it was dead silent most of the time which is a huge plus. Angela was an extremely good host and handled all communications very quickly and professionally. All camper amenities were there as described and worked great. Loved every second of it. FYI please look into a county-wide burn ban before you book, we made the mistake of not checking til last minute. It was a huge bummer for us but obviously it's out of the campgrounds hands and they do stress this before you check in. Also might be worth mentioning to check-in while there's still daylight, the instructions to get to our campsite were very clear although there's not a whole lot of light after dusk (which we also loved, the stars were beautiful).

Had the most relaxing and beautiful stay here. Through rain and shine we were smiling ear to ear with how lovely this trip was in this cabin. The porch has two rocking chairs with an amazing view of the entire property, spent so much time out there listening to music, chatting, and soaking it all in. I would definitely return here and would recommend to anybody.

Great last minute Fall weekend escape / personal retreat from Houston to the Hill Country. Exactly what I needed. Though Medina River is low, still a beautiful area for walking / hiking, nature. Dogs do bark in vicinity, but not a nuisance (but i have dogs, so not an issue for me). The cottage is quaint, has everything you need for a weekend getaway. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful relaxing time here. The space was bigger than we had expected with a great view of the land and river. There was lots of deer too! The WiFi works great as well.

Our family really enjoyed the space that casa topo provided. We came from out of town but wanted to be closer to nature and further away from the city. This property offered us the quiet and tranquility of the country while offering the comforts of our own home. We would recommend this stay if you are from out of town and would like a unique experience.

What an unexpected gem! The cabin sits in the most peaceful setting, with the river only a few minutes’ walk away and deer casually frolicking around as if welcoming you to their home. It’s the perfect place to disconnect, slow down, and just be. We enjoyed every minute and would gladly return.
